AlgaeFuel’s research and development team is developing and improving the efficiency of our extraction techniques for high volume production of commercialized renewable energy.
Our AIPS (Advanced Integrated Pond System), uses a low cost, low tech approach to treating municipal, industrial and agricultural waste resulting in a high yield, low maintenance cultivation system. Alga growth is fertilized in large scale raceway ponds that use sewage treatment waste water as a source of nutrients and are additionally supplemented with anaerobic bacterial byproducts. Taking full advantage of these natural processes results in a synergistic effect, producing economic savings for the successful commercial production of sustainable biofuels.
